Every year, prior to Oct. 1, all Town businesses must pay their Business Tax Receipt Renewal fee in order to continue as a legal business in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. The Town sends courtesy renewal notices to the business mailing address or email address that you provided at the time of application.
If your preferred mailing address or email address has changed, we ask that you email BTR@lbts-fl.gov and provide us your updated information as soon as you can. This will ensure you receive all important Town correspondence in a timely manner and help you keep your BTR in good standing.
To pay your Business Tax Renewal fee online, you can use the payment option below. Please allow staff 5 business days to process your payment and issue you the Business Tax Receipt via email.
To pay your Business Tax Renewal fee via mail, please address the envelope to Development Services at 4501 N. Ocean Drive, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, FL 33308. In the envelope, please include your license number, business name, and business address.
