The Commission of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea has appropriated funding for the 2023-2024 fiscal year to provide financial assistance to nonprofits serving the Lauderdale-By-The-Sea community.
Applications must be submitted online and received by May 10, 2023.

Provide a detailed scope of services explaining what will be accomplished with the funds requested, including how the program will be delivered, where it will be delivered, etc.

Estimate the number of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea residents to be served. If jurisdictions other than Lauderdale-By-The-Sea will receive services from this funding, please provide a breakdown of other beneficiaries.
List the quantitative measurements you will use to evaluate your project and explain how you will obtain, verify and report them.
If this application is approved for funding, the organization agrees to comply with all required federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The organization confirms that it is fully capable of fulfilling the obligations as stated in this proposal and in any attachments or documents included with this application.

After receipt of the application, all applications will be presented to the Commission at the next regulary-scheduled Commission meeting. Applicants are strongly encouraged to attend the Commission meeting in which all requests will be reviewed. At this meeting, the requestors will have the opportunity to provide additional information about their request and/or answer any questions. The Commission, at its sole discretion, shall determine which organizations are awarded funding. All decisions of the Commission are final and binding. Once funding has been approved, the approved amount will be provided to the organization. Please note that the formal letter/affidavit will be prepared by the Town and must be completed and returned by the organization within two weeks of receipt. Organizations may apply for one donation per fiscal year.
