Upcoming Precautionary Boil Water Notice

October 4 BWN

The City of Fort Lauderdale, which supplies water to our town, will issue a Precautionary Boil Water Notice on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 11 p.m. for properties in the area of Washingtonia Avenue and North Ocean Drive, for planned maintenance of the water distribution system. The Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until drinking water test results meet the required standards for two consecutive days.

During this time, we advise residents to boil all water used for cleaning, drinking, cooking, and brushing your teeth. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient, or bottled water may be used as an alternative.
