As part of the Town's building maintenance program, staff had all the roofs on the municipal campus (as well as the offsite warehouse facility) inspected.
Lauderdale-By-The-Sea's beaches and dunes are a valuable resource and serve several functions, including supporting nesting marine sea turtles, foraging/nesting shore birds, migratory birds, and habitat for other native plants and animals.
This sewer project allowed homeowners to abandon their septic tanks after connecting to the Town's sewer system, which is operated by Pompano Beach.
The Visitors Center underwent a major interior renovation in 2021. This Capital Improvement Project, which cost $95,000, was completed in February 2022.
A $1 million drainage project was completed in early 2021 to alleviate flooding on Terra Mar Island when a stormwater pipe was installed underneath East Terra Mar Drive between Cypress Creek Drive and Spanish River Drive.
Anglin's Courtyard at Friedt Family Park on Bougainvilla Drive was completed in October 2021. The Capital Improvement Project cost $235,000 and included a $10,000 grant from Broward County.
