The Community Church in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is organizing several boats that will sail to the Bahamas with relief supplies. The church's address is 4433 Bougainvilla Drive.
The church and Capt. Samuel Hinton, one of its members, has teamed up with Point of Impact Global Missions, Sands Harbor Resort & Marina and other organizations to form a Flotilla of Hope. The group is in contact with Bahamian officials to gather information for safe landing areas for boats and to ensure the correct procedures are followed.
Here is a list of items that are being collected. Clothing is not being accepted at this time, per the request of the Bahamian Government.
